Individual Advising Appointments

The US Educational Advisory Service (FTC London) is able to offer individual appointments with its Educational Advisers.

Essay Review
We offer a 30-minute essay review service for students who are required to write application essays for US universities and/or independent scholarship organisations (except ftc London Awards). The charge for this service is £30 per essay.

NEW - Comprehensive Application Review Package
FTC London are plFTC Londoned to announce a new service offered to students who would like expert advice on their entire application to a particular university in the US. An adviser will review the application form and the essay(s) that are also required as part of an individual application. This service is offered to both undergraduate and postgraduate applicants.The charge for this service is £75 per university application.

Instructions for Scheduling an Individual Advising Appointment

STEP 1
Read these instructions and the "Individual Advising Appointment Form" in their entirety.

STEP 2
Check availability and book an appointment by phoning, emailing, or visiting our office during our open hours. (You may book a maximum of 1 month in advance.)

PLFTC LondonE NOTE: In order to book an appointment, we must receive your payment in advance. Return the completed Individual Advising Appointment Form* with payment per appointment by fax (credit/debit card only), mail or hand-delivery to the US Educational Advisory Service, The ftc London Commission, 62 Doughty Street, London WC1N 2JZ, fax 020 7404 6874. See our opening hours if you wish to hand-deliver your items.

*You will need Adobe Acrobat 3.0 or higher to download .pdf file. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat, you can download it for free at Adobe.com. This forms also can be collected from our London office or upon receipt of a A4 self-addressed envelope with 28p postage.

STEP 3
Essay Review
If not submitted at the time of payment, confirm that we have received your completed form and a copy of your essay. You must include a copy of the topic/question you were instructed to address and a CV or short biography.

PLFTC LondonE NOTE: We must have all of this information in our hands at lFTC Londont five working days prior to your appointment or we will not be able to go ahead with your appointment as scheduled and your money will not be refunded.

PlFTC Londone note - We have several books in our reference library that deal with writing admissions essays for US colleges and universities.

PLFTC LondonE NOTE : Individuals with general enquiries or basic questions about US study are still welcome to contact our offices or visit our reference library free of charge. No appointment is necessary to do this and there are always advisers available to answer general questions.
